LNG import terminal expansion

• Client-side delivery lead for a €250 million jetty and terminal expansion, coordinating Worley as reimbursable EPCM contractor alongside mechanical, E&I and marine subcontractors.
• Run the construction coordination organization between the PMO, terminal operator, regulators and field teams for a site of 120–130 people. Chair daily coordination, weekly look-ahead and construction-to-commissioning handover meetings.
• Rebuilt integrated schedule logic around commissioning gates — ICSS SAT, cause-and-effect testing, shutdown and RFSU — and secured written contractor commitments to zero-float milestones.
• Own MC pack content, ITR A/B status, punch categories, 48-hour review windows and tripartite walkdowns through Smart Completions. Started commissioning activities early to resolve permitting and communication interfaces.
• Govern HSE, permit-to-work and SIMOPS inside an operating terminal: jetty energization, LOTO planning, night-shift permitting, ATEX inspections and the §29b BImSchG compliance register.
• Lead incident investigation and strengthen supervision through release hold points, permit comprehension checks and direct client oversight of E&I work.
• Review contractor performance, staffing, variations, delay exposure and readiness for the 80 barg high-pressure leak test of marine loading arms.
• Designed the cross-company task tracker adopted by owner and EPCM; produce commissioning ITR dashboards and SteerCo materials.

30 MW floating solar park

• Led site execution in a technically demanding underwater anchoring environment with complex client requirements.
• Coordinated four EPC contractors across floating structures, subsurface anchoring, directional drilling and high-voltage infrastructure; 60–70 workers within the main floating-structure scope.
• Acted as the client’s point of contact for safety, schedule, budget, risk mitigation and daily execution issues.

Solar delivery and international operations

• Construction & Site Manager, Aug 2023–May 2025: directed a 35 MW ground-mount solar park for GroenLeven, including logistics, subcontractors, HSE, quality, testing and handover. Delivered within schedule and budget.
• Business Development Manager APAC, Apr 2022–May 2025: established the Singapore operation and developed supply-chain processes, partnerships and client relationships for offshore equipment and services.

Pipelay vessel upgrade, pipe yard and supply base

• Site Manager, Jan–Nov 2021: overall responsibility for Mukran pipe yard and Rostock supply base; set up the latter from the ground up for the Baltic Sea pipelay campaign.
• Managed the safe and timely handling of approximately 15,000 pipe joints and client-provided materials; planned 14 vessels across two yards.
• Client Representative, Jun 2020–Jan 2021: oversaw the Akademik Cherskiy upgrade and five-yearly class survey, reporting safety, progress and milestones to senior management.

TurkStream pipeline

• Ran the Turkish marshalling yard for the 32-inch deepwater Black Sea pipeline, leading 10 direct staff and all logistics providers.
• Managed line-pipe load-out to pipelay vessels, inventory, supply scheduling and demand forecasting.
• Wrote and maintained operational and logistics procedures, process flows and performance reporting.

Offshore construction fleet

• Established spares, consumables, project inventories, maintenance systems and support teams across Asia Pacific, Europe and the USA.
• Controlled ordering, expediting and logistics; reported on fleet maintenance and M&R budgets.
• Supported tenders and vessel mobilization and demobilization planning.

Vessel conversions, offshore systems and logistics

• Warehouse Manager (2005–2011), Offshore Network Engineer (2000–2005), and earlier logistics roles (1997–2000).
• Conversion and start-up teams for Audacia and Pioneering Spirit, including workshop, store and deck layouts. Audacia conversion involved site management for a workforce of 1,500+.
• Managed goods, expediting and load-outs for pipelay and deepwater campaigns, supplying a 2,500-strong shipyard workforce.
• Earlier responsible for business-critical IT infrastructure — approximately 30 servers — on five pipelay and trenching vessels.

A practical maritime foundation

• Smit Lloyd: deck foreman in offshore supply, towing and anchor handling.
• Jumbo Shipping: trainee maritime officer in heavy lift.
